Last year's event attracted over 3,600 chocolate lovers. This year's show is again open to the public and will feature abundant samples of chocolates, coffee, wine, martinis and gourmet desserts. Guests may shop for unique and delicious holiday gifts, attend live demonstrations from local pastry chefs, and view artistic chocolate competition pieces. Coming back this year is the Chocolate Fashion Show where students from the University of Minnesota College of Design have teamed up with culinary students from Art Institutes International and Le Cordon Bleu to create and model chocolate-inspired fashions. Tawnja Zahradka with CW's The Minnesota Experience will emcee. New to the show is the Heart Lounge where guests can learn the health benefits of dark chocolate and red wine. Over 100 prizes will be raffled off, and 100% of the proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Minnesota to help make wishes of seriously ill children come true.
